Thankyou for all your reply's.

Turned out we had to replace the sounder because the cover and lenz were damaged.So rest assured,the kids won't be using the new one for target practice,.

The sounder was cheap enough but the fitting bumped up the price,£126 Inc vat,does that sound reasonable for this type of repair?.

You could do what I always wanted to do and lock them in the cellar with a torch and the full scantronic range of engineering manuals,

Nah, joking. Mine did the usual, write on new painted/papered walls (Young), kept pressing incorrect codes into RKP, (Older), knocked a passive off the wall, (more older). And now even older ( How I have not killed them yet is a wonder to me) cost me fortunes.
Don`t ya love them?

If you or a friendly neighbour can go up ladders and remove the lid, it should be easy enough to work out. Put code back in and then make sure all the internal tampers are closed (Springs ect) then lid back on and put code back in.
That should be that.
As you can see, it has a tamper to let you know when unarmed and goes off when armed.

Need anymore help just ask.

And get the boys to kick about a bit lower :P
Also, give em some extra hugs, they can never get enough.
