Mend Optima XL6 Fault Going Circuit

Optima XL6 alarm Tamper fault?

Optima XL6The tamper alarm is permanently going off. I have shorted out both the circuit tamper circuit and the bell box tamper but it does not clear? is the box therefore brokken or is there something else I can try?
