My fan waste electric oven won't work?

My leisure rang fan oven and clock won't work. I have read that taking the 2 blue wires out of the clock nd connecting together fixes it. However my cooker had 3 blue wires connected to oven, grill nd hotplate not any to clock. My husband pulled 2 White wires from clock nd connected together but oven still not working. Can you help? By the way the hotplate still works!
