Mend Singer Lightweight Pedal Sewing Machine

help with a singer lightweight electric pedal?

when i plug in my sewing machine, it goes straight to full power. pressing on the pedal increases the speed! it will not slow down!! its a singer lightweight...any ideas?? thanks

Hello Steph,
The suppressor has blown in the foot control, nothing major, undo the foot control and you will see a liuttle square thing, take it out and throw it away you don 't need it.
