Mend Alpha Heating 240p Problem Hot Valve

Alpha 240p boiler problem. ?

Hot tap turned on, diverted valve functions and presses microswitch but gas does not ignite. Pilot light is on. Also if I switch the heating on via the front control panel, neon doesn't light up on indicator panel and nor does the gas light up. A but of p,sting with microswitches, hot taps etc and it seems to work but with a 10 mon old daughter and a miss us who doesn't like me tampering with it...I need some advice on what the problem could be. Thanks in advance. J.

Pcb is a common fault on this model, sometimes the heating also comes on randomly when the pcb is playing up. If you got the manual you should be able to trouble shoot it on your own as its fairly straight forward to follow.
