Mend Dehumidifier Will Not Run

My dehumidifier will not run ?

My dehumidifier keeps saying the bucket is full and will not run. The bucket is empty and I took the filter out and washed all the dirt out, and left the humdifier unpluged for 24 hours. I plugged it back in and pressed the start button, it starts but quickly stops and the bucket full reading appears. I'm looking some suggestions on what else I can do, the unit is only 1 year old....
