Mend Delonghi 550P Start Fan Runs

Delonghi 550P clicks trying to start the condensor, but will not start?

Delonghi dehumidifier starts and the fan runs, but the condensor will not start. There is a click periodically attempting to start the condensor with no results. Is there a part a novice can replace?

I presume you mean the compressor, cutting in/ out on the t.o.c. is typical of a winding down in the compressor and replacement is a specialised job
