Mend Electrolux EOD982 Fan Time Switched

Delayed fan start up for my Electrolux eod982?

The fan on my eod982 won,t kick in for quite a time after the oven is switched on,it seems have got worse of late,once running the fan runs free and quitely.Could this problem stem from the stat?Any suggestions? thanks.

more than likely there is some wear but you could try some light oil in the bearings of the motor as it may be getting gummed up with grease, otherwise you need a replacement fan motor
