Not sure if you can reduce the volume,but if my memory serves me correctly, you can disable the chime function by,

1 punch in your user code

2 press 9 (chime)

3 press the * key

Not sure if your user code will allow you in,you may need to use the master code.

I think this is how to operate Chime on your panel

To program a zone to Chime:
1. Enter User Code.
2. Press 9/Chime.
3. Enter zone number for Chime.
4. Press Ö to finish or wait for confirmation beep.

To disable the Chime on all zones enter User Code, press 9 then Ö. The Chime function cannot be disabled on individual zones
