Mend Optima Compact Alarm House Reset

How can I fix my home alarm system? ?

My house alarm is an Optima Compact. If we get a power cut and the alarm trips then most of the time the alarm will not reset. tried several things. Anyone got any helpful ideas that I can try. At the moment I am building up a problem and remedy log for this issue and anything suggested I can add then share.
