how can i fix my simpson genesis 511? it won't spin on any cycle just drain?

Ignore the other reply. It only has one filter and if that was blocked it would not drain at all. Don't know why people give answers when they are not familiar with the make & model. Your problem could be any of the following. Lid switch faulty - Lift lid and close it again slowly. You should be able to hear a definite click just before the lid is fully down. Could also be brake solenoid not releasing brake for spin or a problem with the timer. You would need a service person to check the last two.
