Mend Creda Light Switched Mains

ive got a creda oven?

ive got a creda cooker put it on this morning put some meat in it started ok but then a bright light came on in the oven then it switched the mains off now it wont cook any thing

we hawe creda gainsborough oven but not working when turning cooker temperatuer button .so our oven not working any ideas please

The bright light could of been the light blowing, if you had it switched on. If you have a light switch, turn it off, that might be enough to get you going or if no switch, remove old bulb, again that might get it going again.
If not light, then probably an element has burnt through, the light would of been the arcing to element casing, new element.
