Mend Diplomat ADP5330 Loud Switched Making

diplomat adp5330 loud noise ?

when switched on at the wall my cooker is making a strange noise it sounds as if its the fan in the top of the cooker above the oven , this blows cold air contantly aswell, is this normal? it does this without even switching the actual oven on and only stops when switched off at the wall any ideas what this could be n how to fix it please?

fan in the top ( cooling fan ) should only run when the heat builds up to a temp.if it runs from cold the stat that controls the fan is probably shot and needs replacing
