how can i fix my fridge freezer?

my fridge freezer is broke,my freezer is slowly defrosting and my fridge is not cold.a few days ago it was making a very loud noise so i switched it off and on and the noise stopped.can i get it fixed as its only 3yrs old or will i be best getting a new 1?

Ginny ,,, The noise could have been ice building up on the fan (if your machine has one), if that is the case the machine will be OK (until it ices up again) after it has been defrosted.
