Mend Numatic NVAC Problems Started Noise

Hi I'm sorry to be a pain I have a nuvac numatic Hoover ?

My nuvac numatic Hoover has never had any problems but it started making a loud noise when I switched it on and now there is nothing could it be the motor? My dad used to fix them but his passed away now. Please help sorry x
