how do I fix ellectrolux brush roller to run?

I get this problem over and over again and it's less than 8 months old! This is what causes mine....this may Not be your problem though! Check that the fan belt is not split.....When it does it cuts off and replacing it does the trick. Check this first. Blocked hair/dust/etc in the roller stops it from rolling....Clean the roller brush after every use. Check pipe/hose for blockages. If you need more help phone them: HELPLINE: 08445 614614
