Mend Frister Rossman Star 114 Thread Machine Work

how to thread the Frister Rossman Star 114?

I have recently pulled out my old sewing machine and cant work out how to thread it. The instructions tell me to pass the thread through the 'rear thread guide' but there isnt one!! Can any one help?
