Mend Veritas 8 Alarm Problem

veritas 8 alarm problem?

My husband unscrewed a sensor in the bedroom on our veritas 8 alarm so he could decorate behind it,after it was put back,the tamper light on the control panel now stays on permanently ,and we can't set the zones.Anybody got any idea's on how we can get the tamper light to go off and restore the alarm functions???
