Mend Indesit WI121 Easy Problem Machine

how easy is it to replace the door lock?

The latch on my Indesit Wi121 does not lock properly. The problem is either on the door or the latch in the machine. How do I replace them?

The lock has broken on my Hotpoint Aquarius WT 540 washing machine and it is shut with washing inside. How do I open the door?

guaranteed it'll be the handle side thats the problem. The pin that slides through the hook has worked itself loose. You'll need to separate the inner and outer door trim to access, then simply push the pin back in

pull the door seal off the front cabinet will give you limited access to the door lock
