how to fix the pump on my washing machine i think it may be blocked?

how to take the pump on my fisher & paykel excellence washing machine apart i think it is blocked have had this problem before,had a serviceman out and he showed us an easy way to fix, but that was 6 months ago and have now forgotten how

Siphon most of water out.If there is not a panel on the front to remove, you will need to tilt the machine to the left side. underneath at the front right is small metal motor about palm size with what looks like a small fan on it. Unplug machine obviously B4 now and taking note of wire positions on pump pull wires off. There is a clip that lock pump which needs to held out while you rotate pump anti clockwise. Turn around as far as it will go then pull down. pays to have towel to catch remaining water at this stage. When pump is out check that it turns freely, if rusty replace it. trying to turn pump with small fan before removing will usually give indication of blockage or if jammed
