Hoover 1400 AAA washing machine?

Yesterday our boiler packed up, the electrics tripped which stopped the cycle of the washing machine. It left water in the machine but allowed me to open the door and remove the washing. I have today tried to select a new wash or and cycle and the machine appears to be constantly filling and will not allow me to select a cycle. None of the lights are lit on the circuit board. Does any have any ideas please? Thanks
