Mend John Deere 2550 Tractor Hydraulic

how do I replace steering seal on John Deere 2550?

I hear that there is a pin inside the cylinder to press and it comes apart so the seal may be replaced, but I cannot seem to find it. How can I replace the steering cylinder seal without removing the entire front end of the tractor?
