Mend John Deere 4300 Tractor Clutch

Looking for information on adjusting the clutch on a JOHN DEERE 4300?

My tractor jerks in all forward gears when I let out
the clutch. This doesn't happen in reverse. The clutch is almost all the way out before moving. My tractor is a 1997 or 98 John Deere 4300 4wd with
sync reverse. I'm hoping to be ablt to fix this without going to a dealer.
