Mend DeLonghi Lattissima Red Light Issue

Red light stays on, DeLonghi Lattissima machine?

The standby red light now stays on -- though the machine still seems to work OK. I don't think this is a descaling issue (the manual says this is an orange light), since the machine is only a few weeks old.
