Mend Candy CCS5163S Fridge Light Freezer Years

How can I get the fridge to work?

The fridge part of my Candy CCS5163S 9.7CF has stopped working. The light is Ok and the freezer is working. I have only had it for 3 years. I was told that perhaps the gas has leaked out, but would the freezer still work?.
