Mend Miele G692 SC plus Dishwasher Pump Washer

my dishwasher keeps running the drain pump?

My dish washer is a miele G692 SC plus.
I came in to find the sink overflowing, water had run over the work surface where the dishwasher is. I have cleared the blocked waste now and checked the waste from the machine which is all clear, but every time it is put on, the drain pump comes on evan though the machine is empty of water, the red drain/ inlet light also comes on and the machine will not go past this stage. (I am a plumbing and heating engineer by trade) can you guys help.

This happened to my dishwasher I pulled it out and tilted it forward and the water ran over the floor. The floor got a good wash and the dishwasher is working again

you have water in the bottom pan of the dishwasher (from the overflowing) This is not visible since I'm not talking about inside the unit, this is the bottom tray on the underside of the appliance. You might get lucky and it will dry out / evaporate, or get a wet vac / small pump and get it out, or else you have to uninstall it and tip the unit to get the water out.
