jones 671?

my jones 671 is not sewing, top cotton get clogged underneath and stitches zig zag and loose?

Hello Ann,
You need to reset the tensions but make sure when you thread the machine that the presser foot is up so the thread goes between the discs, top tension about 5 and make sure you can onlky just pull the bottom thread through with slight resistence.
