Mend Epson DX8400 Printer Troubleshooting

How can i fix my Epson Stylus DX8400 from saying repair service required?

Every time a print something my Epson Stylus DX8400 comes up saying it need a service repair and I have to close the wording box everytime.

Epson Epson DX8400 Computers, Printers Epson Printer Troubleshooting

Sounds as if it needs the ink pads in the base changing. (Or wash them out and dry them before replacing them - very messy!!!).
Then use SSC Service Utility to reset the counter.
