Mend Epson DX5000 Developed Fault Lights

My Epson DX5000 printer has developed a 'general' fault. ?

All the indicator lights flash at once and the troubleshooting guide says there is a fault with the product. It has performed perfectly well for a couple of years with no problems. Is there anything I can do or is it time to buy a new one?
