Mend Hoover HNV380 Turn Works Minutes

hoover hnv380?

my hoover dryer has started to cut out. When i turn on the dryer it works for a few minutes then stops to rotate in the other direction which it does for appox 2 mins then cuts out again. Noticed that there seems to be a burning smell inside the drum any advice on the possible cause

Ours was doing something very similar, and it was squealing as well. it started working properly after a few weeks of not using it... however if I were you, I'd get it fixed, as ours went up in flames thismorning, taking the garage with it. It was an electrical fault apparently, the clothes inside managed to survive, god only knows how!
