Mend DeLonghi DEM10 Ok Works Cuts Out

Delonghi Dem10 starts ok on thermo setting works but cuts out?

turn thermostat knob back to start position move clockwise fan starts, refrigeration cuts in after a few minutes works fine for 1-2 minutes then cuts out green light stays on; but will not restart unless the knob is turned back to start and turned clockwise until fan starts again and the same cycle is repeated. There is a small amount water in the tray. ! filler is clean checked and cleaned thermo probe still will not restart and stay running. is this the main thermostat/the probe/or capacitor? Any help would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem, it comes on and then after a few seconds, or sometimes a minute or two, its as if it changes its mind and just switches off. I have had the dem 10 for about four months and it has been great, the house is warm enou for it to work and we have plenty of moisture in the air for it to work on-we use one of those tent like clothes dryers from china and it produces a lot of moisture, so it can't be that there is no humidity.

tried continuous same results starts fan compressor runs after a minute or so then cuts out after 2-3 minutes. green light stays on.

How far do you turn the knob?. Part way,it will switch on/off. check your instructions. completely turned clockwise would set to continuous.
