Mend Peugeot Cost Car Day

Can anyone tell me how much valves for my twin cam peugeot roughly cost?

Hi,

My car died on me the other day and i have had a machanic look at it and he has said that my cambelt has snapped and it has bent my valves in the engine. There are 16 valves and he is replacing them all, i just wanted to know if anyone knows how much they roughly cost so that i can make sure he is not conning me when the massive bill comes!

cant you ask him for a quote?and yes you are right about getting a big bill,it doesn`t pay to ignore timing belt frequency change,it may be cheaper to source a complte cyl.head from a scrappy,therefore saving on valve replacement costs
