Mend Ford Fuel Pump

Cost of fuel pump for ford focus tdi?

i have a ford focus tdi. it is V reg with 140,000 on the clock. The other day i came home and after turning it off it wouldn't start again. Had a breakdown company come out to me and they told me it is the fuel pump. Can anybody tell me how much i could be looking at to have it replaced, or if its worth just scrapping the car?

pumps are very expensive,last quote for a transit pump was £1,100,which basically wrote the van off, you will have to shop around,maybe try a scrappy
