Mend Volkswagen VW Caddy 1999 Alternator Battery Light

alternator wiring ?

hi does anyone know which terminal the battery light ignition fed has to be connectted to on 1999 vw caddy
alternator i have two pins on alternator marked W and D+ THE PLUG IS BROKEN OFF CAR WIRING LOOM SO I DONT WANT TO QUESS AND BLOW ALTERNATOR
again as first one was blown my some one fitting jump leads wrong way round !

Hi Matt,
connection W should be a green wire 0.5mm
connection D+ should be a blue wire 0.5mm
connection B+ should be a black wire 10mm
