Mend Miele Cevan Power Connected Working

How can I get my Cevan Miele Induction hob to work? ?

The power is connected and working. The numbers showing the intensity of heat work (you can set it from 0 to 9). However, when you try and heat a pan or kettle by placing it on the hob nothing happens. It doesn't heat up at all.
It's a 2 ring induction hob.

If it is an induction hob you can only put magnetic pots and pans on it. They need to be magnetic to conduct the heat otherwise nothing will happen. Just get a magnet and see if it sticks to your pots and pans. The pots and pans the magnet sticks to are the ones that'll work on an induction hob.
