Mend Singer 438 Started Suggestions Bought

Singer 438 machine will not stop?

My wife's machine started to work without foot control being used. Tried all the suggestions bought new parts, capacitator,resistor and still no differens. Took all parts out and left connected to power and machine still carried on working. Any suggestions, desperate wife in middle of jobs.

dont know if some one told you to open foot control and took out noise surpressor,also some machines have noise surpressor on motor or close to motor,have you tried a different foot control as it could also be the resistance plate on foot control shorted out
