the power light on my veritas 8c is flashing?

same alarm, but the battery is cold but the '24hr' light is flashing, its not the tamper switch, what could it be peeps...thanks

Oh dear, why pay £80 ish plus the cost of the battery when you can do it yourself for just the cost of the battery?

Opening the panel and causing the tamper alert is no big deal, your code will cancel & reset it.

i would replace the battery cause its totally knackered but i would contact your engineer cause at least they would be able to fit it without tripping the tamper on the alarm

The flashing light and a hot battery syndrome. Of course the battery is fine. Its just come back for a week on holiday, only reason it could be hot innit :D

GTS dont be a Silly Billy, Michael has already told us its not the battery because he says its working.

Michael is obviously a very clever person, maybe even a genious GTS, because he is able to do something that over 200 years of experience between us, We cant do, and that is look at a battery and test it with our eyes.
Joking aside Michael GTS is right, its your battery, Too long to go into how we know this from sitting at our PSc, You can either replace the battery, Or the expensive option Call someone out to do it for you.
