Mend Brother CE250 Sewing Machine Needle Thread

I just changed the needle and the needle is hitting something???what did i ?

i alredy went to purchase more needles it is still happening....something hits needle and is causing it to bend side ways and it is not picking up bobbin string!!!!!help someone please....first time sew machine buyer futura ce250 using it to sew....

Either the needle is in the wrong way round or the machine has gone out of time which is quite common, if you type my email address as you say it and not as you see it I will attach instructions.
