Mend Humax 9200t Pvr Channels

Receiving radio stations on Humax 9200t PVR?

This question is how to tune in to the radio channels on a Humax 9200t PVR. I have just done a rescan on my friend's Humax 9200t PVR as Film4 and ITV4 had dropped off the channels list for some reason. During the scan you can see the TV and radio channels as they are picked up. At the end of the scan it tells you how many TV and how many radio channels have been picked up. However, none of the radio channels are displayed on the Channels List or the Programme Guide. The Programme Guide is headed "TV" so do you have to change to "Radio" somehow? If so, how? On my Humax Freeview HD Recorder there's a button on the remote to toggle between TV and radio but I can't find anything like that on my friend's remote. In case you're wondering, he's never listened to the radio on it before - it was only when I suggested to him that he could record radio programmes that he realised he couldn't tune into them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

In addition to the TV/Radio button there are other methods to change the currently selected channel list.

When in the epg use the red button to see the options.

When in the channel list (accessed through the OK button when watching live TV) select the right arrow button to see the options.

Also … if there are both TV and radio programmes recorded then the Recorded Programme list will show all recorded programmes in one list, but just 4 recordings to a screen. If the ‘Play List’ is used instead then up to 10 recordings are displayed but the TV and Radio recordings are in separate lists. Use the left or right arrow buttons to change whether TV or Radio recordings are displayed. The TV/Radio button can also be used here as well.

The 9200/9150/9300 remotes have 19 buttons hidden under a flap. The flap is the part of the remote that has the brand name displayed. Press on the three raised dots located at the top end of the flap and slide down this section of the remote control to reveal the TV/Radio button. The button is marked by a musical note symbol.

The flap can be removed altogether for easier access to all the controls, including EPG 1 day back/advance, instant replay, advert skip, and the play list.
