how can I fix my humax foxsat-HDR?

The screen has frozen on settings page, and am unable to go into menu etc - tried the advice given, switching off, removing aerial etc, but still only frozen settings screen on switching on, so cannot reset to factory settings. I had an extended warranty for 5 years which expired 3 months ago!! have a lot of recordings unable to access
