I over presssured my boiler by mistake Vokera Linea, help?

For the first time in approx 5 yrs the pressure dropped completely, I used the filling loop and it rested really where it should be - between 1 and 1.5 bar, but, just over the 1, so foolishly, I tried again to get it just a little higher (should have left well alone) and it went over, and so when using it creeps over 2 bar and I am getting worried, what can I do, is it safe to use?
