Hoover VHC 380 tumble dryer, won't stay on, keeps turning off?

Is a Hover VHC 380 condensor tumble dryer.

Tumble originally said filter needed cleaning, have cleaned both lint filter and water condenser filter. So that resolved.

Since then works for little bit, then seems to go overheated, but not?
Says water tank needs emptying, filters need cleaning. None of which are case.
Have to leave for while to cool and then may work for couple more hours, then stops again.
Hubby has in past had to constantly grease axle as terrible squeak, but it's always worked, just very noisily.

sorry not really helping with description, but I just use it, not repair it!
