It would also be worth checking that the water tray is 'home' and that it's seal is intact ;-)

It sounds to me like the condenser seals are leaking. Above the water tray which you empty there are 2 red levers. Unlock them, pull the condenser forward and check the rubber seals at the front. I've also had the seals leak after vaccing the condenser of fluff.
