condenser unit not working on Hoover Six TC650 tumbler dryer?
Dryer working ok but condenser box is not collecting water. It has been like this for some time now but everything else works, apart from the higher heat setting which blows the fuse. I've been using the dryer regularly for over a year on the lower heat setting, so not sure where water is going.
Your condenser is blocked. They're pretty hard to clean properly, but have a go at this quick fix. Take the element out and look down it from back to front (the way the air goes) you'll find it's gunged up with fluff. Just take it outside and put your hose on it at full blast. This is a lot easier than trying to poke something down to clean it.
