Mend Hoover 1300 Special Edition Drum

The Drum On My Hoover 1300 Special Edition?

The Drum On My Hoover 1300 Special Edition has started making a loud thumping noise/vibrating as if uneven load. Machine sitting stable. have checked inside machine & all springs & dampers are in place & look ok. seems to be alot of front to back movement from drum? What could be wrong?
