Need to open drum of Hoover 1300 special edition to remove bra underwire ?
The Underwire of bra is in the machine. I can see it (through the holes in the steel drum) lying on the base of the machine. It jumps up during spin cycle and creates a racket. There is none of it protruding through the drum so I cannot get a grip of it to pull it through. Can I open any area of the drum to remove it???
Thanks Mike, it worked. Not mechanically minded at all but just saved a €75 call out charge and whatever I would have been charged for labour. Take note everyone its worth a try!!!

Best way to get in there to fish it out...A: remove heater element. B: take off sump hose. Take your pick. If it stays in there it will most likely destroy the heater sooner rather than later.
