Mend Hoover Special Edition 1200 Washing Machine Drum Spindle

how do i relace belt on hoover special edition 1200?

Washer will not keep the new belt in place. Fitting it over the small spindle and around the drum circle. Is that correct?

thats correct, if it keeps coming off, check the machine isn't noisy, as faulty bearings will make the drum not run correctly
