Mend Hitachi 32LD8700U Picture Tv Signal

no picture no sound on hitatchi 32ld8700u ?

When turning on tv no sound, picture is all broken in different colours and the no signal sign is showing. Can anyone help tv has built in freeview, was gauranteed for 3 years but ran out in june 2010. TV also shows countdown setting from 5 minutes when turned on.
