Hello I hope u can help me with this matter I have recently bought a second hand technika tv for spare parts or repairs and hope to fix it. To describe the problems it has I would say that it turns on the screen is coming on and receiving signal from hd sources and scart you can see the picture but it flashes and flickers slightly in a strobe effect. As I say I can see the picture is working and am receiving the signal but the flashing and flickering is making it unusable. I would very much appreciate any input from anyone with any technical knowledge on why this may be happening? And how I can manually fix this with my tools and soldering iron.

It may be happening because a component is sometimes working and other times not working - might be a heat-related fault - component warms up and stops working - and then it cools down and starts working again.
You can sometimes diagnose this type of fault by selectively cooling areas of the circuitry with freezer spray.
