how can i fix my Hitachi 42"tv?

Whilst the sound is on, hold a torch towards the blank screen. If you can see an image where the torch light is shining, then your problem is to do with the LED backlights. To fix this, you will probably require a new power board, probably made by Vestel, but you’d need to open up TV and see the components to be able to identify what pcb you’d need.
